Rice Professor, Omid Veiseh, Elected to the Controlled Release Society College of Fellows
HOUSTON – (July, 26, 2024) – Rice University today announced that professor of bioengineering and faculty director of the Rice Biotech Launch Pad, a Houston-based accelerator focused on expediting the translation of the university's health and medical technology discoveries into cures, was elected to the Controlled Release Society (CRS) College of Fellows.
Omid Veiseh commented, “I am deeply honored to be elected to the CRS College of Fellows and to join such a distinguished group of individuals who have made significant contributions to the field to the field of drug delivery. This recognition is a testament to the impactful work we have done and the promising advancements we strive to achieve. The CRS is the premier international, multidisciplinary society dedicated to the science and technology of controlled release. The CRS serves more than 1,500 members from over 50 countries.
