Postdoctoral Associate - Bioengineering
The Veiseh Lab at the Department of Bioengineering at Rice University has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow. The ideal candidate would be an expert in mammalian synthetic biology and/or biomaterials. The recruited postdoctoral fellow will lead an independent project focused on creating an engineered cell therapeutic devise for cancer treatment. All candidates should have strong written and oral communication skills and will also be expected to aid in the supervision of junior lab members and the preparation of research proposals. We are seeking candidates who have demonstrated ability to lead and/or work collaboratively in teams comprised of individuals of diverse backgrounds, skills, and perspectives.

Research Technician
The Veiseh Lab in the Rice University Bioengineering department has an opening for a research technician position. Our lab utilizes molecular engineering and cellular and molecular biology in combination with advanced nano, micro, and macro biomaterial fabrication techniques, to develop platforms of cell therapy devices tailored for in vivo biochemical sensing and delivery of biological therapeutics.
Research Specialist I
The Hilton Lab in the Bioengineering Department at Rice University has an opening for a research technician. Our interdisciplinary and collaborative team utilizes biomolecular and cellular engineering in combination with advanced genome and epigenome technologies, synthetic biology strategies, human genomics, and immune cell manipulation to better understand and control human gene regulation and to develop genetic medicines and cell based therapies.
