Dr. Ferran Prat, PhD, JD, serves as Chief Commercial Officer at BostonGene, where he leads the company’s commercial efforts across business development, marketing, and sales. BostonGene specializes in AI-powered molecular and immune profiling to advance drug development and personalize patient care. Previously, Dr. Prat was Senior Vice President of Research Administration and Industry Relations at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he spearheaded strategic alliances with the biopharma sector to accelerate the translation of research into clinical applications. Before his time at MD Anderson, Dr. Prat held several industry and academic positions, including Vice President of Oncology and Women’s Health at Alere Inc., Vice President for Licensing at Biosite Inc., Management Consultant at McKinsey & Co., Engineer at Chromogenia-Units, and Researcher at the University of California – Los Angeles.Dr. Prat holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of California – Los Angeles and a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.
